The most common question I am asked is how to pronounce my name.  Honestly, I feel that most people are a bit embarrassed to ask me.  It's Rah-neek.  There, that's settled.

Most of my life has been lived in Los Angeles, CA.  I am in a happy relationship of 3 years and have no children.  I'm too busy finding myself and peace of mind to be able to raise another human being. I spend most of my time reading, writing and trying to figure out my place in the world.

While I am not professionally trained in psychology or have any experience in coaching on personal well-being, I am in tune with reaching out for perspective.  In short, I give really good advice.  Just not to myself.

This blog is meant to document the process of (and hopefully find others who are also trying to) finding happiness and contentment in my life.  It's all fun and games until you slip off your yoga block.
