What motivates you?
Personally, it's music. Music can transform my mood. I have this odd talent of remembering lyrics to songs I have not heard in decades.
I used to have a notebook filled with lyrics from my favorite songs that I would write either from memory or while listening to the song. I think I should pick that habit up again. I know the words were not mine, but they still connected me to something and made me feel better.
Making playlists was not a thing that I did. Usually when turning on Spotify (I waver between streaming services, this is the one I'm using now) I just go to my library and hit shuffle play until I get to a song that 'speaks' to me. The problem with that is, I have an eclectic taste in music. It's not all cohesive. Solution to this when I need a boost? Playlist!
Here's my motivational playlist. Playing this every morning gets me ready for the day and gives me a great and positive outlook to the day. Of course, it will change because I will change, what motivates me will change...I'll update as needed.
Find what motivates you and keep it close. Use it often.
